USC Commit
Milly ran her court with confidence and clarity. Her communication set the tone, and she ensured every teammate was aligned on offensive and defensive priorities. She mixed her set choices with maturity, balancing tempo, location, and hitter rhythm. Her presence stabilized the offense and kept Mira Costa competitive through every scoring run.

Miss McGee has made a huge jump in the State Rankings in this update. She is now currently ranked as the 4th best overall player and top setter according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays volleyball for Mira Costa High School and also plays for the Southern California Volleyball Club program. Miss McGee has all of the tangible and intangible attributes to lead a college program to a national championship in a few years. There is no doubt in my mind that she is college ready at this moment. This is scary because she still has another year to keep improving her game. Being a great leader just comes very naturally to her and she has the total package that all coaches love. As a setter, there are no weaknesses in her game. She can paint the target over and over directly in the bullseye. If you want her to run a faster tempo, she can with ease. If the pass is out of system, don’t worry because she has the speed and solid footwork in order to “better the ball” and put the ball on a “tee” for the pins. We see all of the effort that is being put into her craft and chose to reward her accordingly. Please help us congratulate her on moving up in our prestigious State Rankings.

There is nothing loud or extra about the game of Milly McGee, I mean that in the best way possible. She is the cool, calm, and collected setter for SCVC who was a key part of their 16 Open National Championship run in July. There is a certain “X-Factor” about her where she knows how to compete and win at a high level. She has plenty of attackers to distribute to, but above all she knows the right matchup at the right time. She will be staying in Southern California and head to USC who is building a monster of a program with some of the recruits they have coming in.
