I must have watched Chesney get about 10 kills while watching her play. 10 kills against good caliber teams. She plays all around. Really good passer on defense, and keeps plays alive as well. Smart hitter who can hit you with line shots or just blast one on you! If you don’t get your hands up quick she will hurt you. Really good all around player.

I’ve seen Chesney play before, very well rounded player who can play any position on the floor. She is a really good passer, has a great feel for the game, but can really hit the ball too. At the Exposure Event she was hitting the ball hard during positional drills. And made good choices during gameplay. She has a great approach and puts big swings on the ball. She’s a smart player as well who can hit cut shots cross court and to the corners. Put her in your lineup and she’s helping your squad.

You can stick this girl anywhere on the court and she will help your squad. She was fantastic during the tournament. Playing all around and making plays at every position. She delivered powerful and smart hits as an OH and made great passes in serve receive. She reads hitters well while covering in the front row or getting digs in the back. She played fantastic in the championship game vs Benet as well, tooling the block on hits and smashing some down the line and in the corners. She is a player to watch.

I have seen Chesney play a few times this year and she keeps getting better and better. She has impressive skills at such a young age, especially since she playing up a year. Chesney did a solid job at the Grand Slam tournament running through the short balls and tracking down out of system passes. She also did a great job in out of system passing allowing her pins to take big swings to generate kills.

Chesney is a libero with a ton of potential. I saw her at tournament in Wisconsin Dells this winter and was impressed with with ability to read the ball early and move quickly. She was solid in both serve receive and defense. Chesney also covers her attackers well which gave her team second chance options. Chesney is only getting started and will be one I keep with up over the next couple of years.
