Wiest can really bring the fire in the middle. She does such a great job of getting in on the quick attack, while showcasing her fast arm swing and her ability to swing around the block. She also can put up a devastating block to shut down opposing hitters. Very quick in transition both on and off and along the net. Love her aggressiveness both offensively and defensively.

Wiest and her Aspire NW team finished with a 5-3 record at the MLK Kickoff in Seattle. The Camas attacker is quick off the floor and versatile enough to swing from the middle or either pin. Aspire utilized her attacking from the outside when they wanted to give Wiest an extra swing in a favorable matchup. The sophomore is athletic and comfortable from the service line and backrow defense.

Wiest hustles to every ball when she is not on the net swinging. Her arm is quick, allowing her to attack as a faster speed than her opponents.

The 2028 MB/RS from Camas High School had an excellent season for Aspire NW. Wiest was playing in the middle, but Aspire would frequently look to find her attacking from the right pin to take advantage of her strong arm and versatility. She is deliberate with her footwork, getting into transition, and works hard to be available for her setter.

Wiest is a dynamic middle blocker with strong court vision. She has an impressive ability to place tips effectively for a quick point. She is vocal on the court, aggressive in transition, runs varied routes, and executes slide attacks smoothly, making her a well-rounded threat from the middle.
