The long and athletic outside from Camas and Athena moves up to the #4 overall spot in the updated rankings. Gonzalez has a terrific feel for the game and is solid all-around in six rotations. Her length and whippy arm are separators for her as a prospect; she will be playing a challenging schedule with Athena 16 Gold, including the Triple Crown NIT Battle to Bartle in mid February.

Gonzalez was very tough on the pin for Excel NW during the club season. She has terrific length for a six-rotation OH and excellent snap on her swing. She lands at #5 overall in the initial Washington class of 2028 rankings. She will continue to have excellent training during high school at Camas, and we expect Gonzalez to continue to improve her overall game.

The 5’11” Gonzalez has excellent length, she blasts kills and has a stinging serve that keeps passers off-balance and teams out-of-system. The Camas 2028 looked powerful on the pin against Shockwave 15 Dre, and she put together a critical serving run to help put away the second set.

The OH/MB from Camas is playing very comfortably on the pins and in serve receive for Excel 15 Lux. Gonzalez may lose her MB designation and exclusively work from the outside as her game continues to grow. She moves fluidly in transition and has a natural and smooth arm swing that allows her to put balls away down the line and off the block. Gonzalez has the length to get to swings across the backline; she is a prospect to watch moving forward.
