Haucke has been a key offensive threat for McNicholas this year as they look to challenge for a second consecutive state title this fall, this time at the Division III level. The Rockets saw their toughest opponent of the season last week in a non-league match versus Seton. Seton claimed the win through a 3-1 edge although the game scores were close. Haucke earned a double-double with 15 digs and 12 kills, good for second on her team offensively. The 5’10 pin is ninth offensively in the GCL as she has produced her best varsity season with 163 kills and a 2.4 k/s average. McNicholas opens the postseason as the #1 seed in DIII Southwest 2 and will face Mt. Healthy this week. Hauck is committed to Southern Wesleyan.

Competing for Tri-State Elite , the 5’10 Haucke can take healthy swings at the pins and out of the back row. Her approach pattern is fundamentally sound and aggressive in how she drives her arms up to create lift, balance, and to open her shoulders well to create torque and power. As a six-rotation pin, Haucke has good all around skills as she can pass, defend in the back row and at the net, and put a lot of pressure on the opponent from the service line.

Haucke has turned into a solid six-rotation player for the 16 White team. When the team needs a big kill, Haucke delivers. Her powerful swings are tough for even solid passers to keep up in the air.
