About Kennedy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have been told my coaches I am a great vocal leader and have a great mindset on the court. I am pretty good about not getting down on myself when mistakes are made. I love winning, and love when games are close and the energy is up there!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

From friends, family, and church members, I get told I have an aura glowing around me. I try my best to always be in a positive mood, and most of my personality comes from Jesus. Mentally, I am very strong and think as Jesus would.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I play softball, track, school volleyball, and club volleyball. I was also a gymnast for 10 years of my life. I am very involved in the church and church activities such as youth group or Bible studies. I have won academic essay awards such as the DARE essay and the Optimistic Essay.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My skill and qualities include faithfulness, positivity, leadership, helper, active, and many more.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes my parents divorce was a very hard challenge I faced, but I overcame it by finding where my true validation comes from and that’s Jesus. He truly is where the joy is.

What type of college are you looking for?

My option above playing college volleyball is attending YWAM in Kona, Hawaii. Though if it’s in the Lord’s plan, I would love to play college volleyball anywhere I feel called too.
