She’s playing with real speed through the middle now, getting off the net quickly, beating the block into transition and making herself a legitimate option instead of waiting for the offense to come her way. Her timing has sharpened, and when she establishes herself early, she puts pressure on opposing middles to stay with her. The blocking side has taken a jump too. Tipton is reading sooner, closing space and getting her hands across rather than relying on size alone. The physical tools were always intriguing.
