Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Dig Scout
The dynamic Schramm is the 21st-best libero and ranks 152nd among all prospects according to our Class of 2025 State Rankings – she plays high school for Lake Creek and club for TAV Houston 17 Adidas. She recently returned to action after a severe knee injury and only a player with such solid technical foundations would be able to get back playing so well as she did. Besides being very technical, Schramm is also extremely agile and it’s easy to see her flying around on the backcourt chasing balls. She’s really determined when it comes to getting digs and leaves everything on the court every time she steps on it.

Schramm will be with TAV Houston 17 Adidas in the 17 Open division of the event. She recently returned to action after missing several months due to a knee injury and her presence on the court makes the team’s defensive system considerably stronger. Besides being very technical, Schramm plays with the attitude every coach wants in a libero as she goes with everything she has in every single play and never gives up. The libero has the skills and the quickness to make some impressive digs at the left back position and is extremely reliable and efficient in serve-receive.

The electric libero of W Revolution 17 Premier was in her usually dominant form on the backcourt. Very active and intelligent, Schramm made a big impact in the team’s play by displaying impressive solidness with her passing and making several big plays on defense. Besides always been on the perfect spot to get touches on defense, the libero was also very technical and reliable when contacting the ball, generating several transition opportunities for her team.

Even if she’s playing one age group up, expect Schramm to be a defensive anchor for her Woodlands Revolution 17 Premier team that will be in action in the 17 Open division. The libero has a strong attitude on the court and leads the team by example with her hard work and determination. Schramm always has excellent ball control and positioning, but it seems that her excellent high school season with Lake Creek took her game to another level. She’s a strong player on defense and serve-receive and has consistently been improving other areas of her game.

Schramm was a defensive force for her Woodlands Revolution 17 Premier team. Coming from a fantastic high school season with Lake Creek, she seems to be only getting better. Schramm works really hard for the ball on the backcourt and has tremendous ball control and great positioning. Her passing was always reliable too, although she covered a huge area on the court. Schramm has been improving in some other areas of her game too, such as setting in transition.

An important piece in her Lake Creek high school team that just competed in the State Tournament, Schramm was on fire when I watched her in action on court 5. She was very efficient and reliable with her passing, got some impressive digs and displayed that hard-working attitude everyone loves to see in a libero. Schramm is very clean with her actions and is always very focused and on the right spot to make a play.
