Wisconsin Juniors out of the Kenosha area will be heading North to the Badger Region Qualifier where this group of 2028s has a ton of firepower.  I was able to see this group live quite a few times in 2025 and an athlete to keep tabs on would be Kinsley Christensen-Bara Kinsley Christensen-Bara 5'9" | OH/DS/L Indian Trail | 2028 State WI .  The six rotation outside hitter was named “Top Attacker” in the Badger Region Power League.  She has a high contact point and quite a snap on her swing which creates plenty of velocity.  Other teams will need to be aware of her no matter what rotation she is in. 

Kinsley is an outside hitter who plays on the pin with lethal precision. She can dominate in all six rotations and is one of the most well-rounded athletes you will find. She can terminate from both pins and out of the back row. She is also a highly talented defender and a high-level serve receiver.

Christensen-Bara is a 6 rotation outside that does so many things well. She does a solid job on serve receive, plays excellent off blocker defense, and has a good serve. Her attacking is not only explosive, but versatile. Christensen-Bara makes good attacking decisions. She does a great job reading the block in front of her and thus has the ability to alter her shots to hit the seam, go around the block, or power it off opponents hands.

Kinsley is an all-around athlete and awesome six-rotation player. She has a huge presence at the net and makes the tough plays look easy. She never misses a beat on the court and contributes in every possible way for her team. She is relentless on offense and can manufacture points throughout matches, even after long rallies. Kinsely gets a lot of touches throughout plays and sets, and she uses each one as an opportunity for her team. She is a player to watch because she could only continue to rise and dominate in this class.

I’m a big fan of Kinsley Christensen-Bara Kinsley Christensen-Bara 5'9" | OH/DS/L Indian Trail | 2028 State WI , she is so smooth where she is a blend of finesse and power from the outside hitter position.  As an attacker she can put a lot of pace on the ball, she knows how to score points, but what I was even more impressed with was her defense in the backrow.  She anticipates extremely well, as a middle back defender she can read when they are going to the deep corner and can step in to cover the split in the block.  She is also someone who can score points from the backrow as well. 

Kinsley is an engaged pin who never misses a beat on the court. She plays fearlessly and aggressively. Kinsley has a lethal line shot and consistently mixes up where she is swinging the ball, which helps increase her efficiency. She is confident and clean in the back row, getting great defensive touches and communicating well in serve receive. Wisconsin Juniors won the 15 Open Division, and Kinsley contributed significantly to her team’s win.
