Pruitt and her TX Legacy 15 Adidas team tied for fifth at the FAST Warm-Up with three wins and two losses. Very long and mobile, she stood out with her dynamic game at the net. Pruitt was a solid offensive weapon for her team, hitting different sets in the middle at a high rate, and also contributed defensively with her blocking, showing impressive reaction speed and quickness to get off the floor. She also served well and consistently got opponents out of system.

Miss Pruitt is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 class according to our Texas State Rankings but that is only because we have not released them yet.  She plays volleyball at Montgomery High School and also for the Skyline The Woodlands volleyball club.  During the individual skills portion of the event, Kitty stood out immediately for her hard driven footwork that allowed her to be perfectly on time for a zero tempo quick attack.  When we discussed spacing and timing principles with the middles, she was extremely receptive and applied what was learned.  This speaks volumes to how coachable she is as a player.  Despite there only being a few middles in attendance, she stepped up and worked out beyond expectations when her squad needed her the most.  She did not complain and showed just how high her motor is and how strong her cardio is.  Being highly skilled on both offense and defense at the net, she is someone that we should all keep our eye on moving forward.  In my professional opinion, she has tons of potential to improve and will be a show-stopper in a few years.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase. 

A middle, Pruitt showed up very well at the net during the entire event. Middles were probably the most in-demand players in our showcase, as they rarely got off the court, and she was able to play her role with impressive intensity from start to finish. Pruitt is very long and knows how to make the most of it to make an impact at the net on both sides of the ball. She makes contact with the ball at a very high point on offense and is smart with the placement of her tips when she can’t get a full swing. Pruitt also appeared well with her blocking, moving well at the net and always going up well-balanced to take up space from opposing hitters.
