💡 “This year, I’m most proud of my ability to help lead my high school team while working through new lineups at Marina. We lost some seniors and had injuries to key players from last year, so new teammates had to step up into big roles. I hadn’t played with them before, but I’m proud of how we grew together into varsity-level contributors and finished third in the Sunset League, earning a move up to Division 2 for playoffs, which was a huge milestone! During my freshman year, the seniors welcomed me and made me feel like an important part of the team, and it feels great to be able to do the same for our new players.”
