About Kourtnee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is confident, hardworking, aggressive, compassionate, and competitive. This means I approach games with self-assurance, putting in the necessary effort, playing offensively, showing empathy towards teammates, and striving for victory.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am designed with a strong mental capacity, enabling me to process and analyze information efficiently and accurately. My personality can be described as a blend of seriousness and fun. I approach tasks with a serious and focused demeanor, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. However, I also possess a playful and engaging side, making the learning process enjoyable and interactive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Recently, I am not involved in any clubs right now. Im looking forward to during my freshman year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills I developed during this volleyball journey include teamwork, communication, learning and adaptation, and leadership. These were very useful and helpful throughout the season, and just being a student athlete in general. I developed teamwork when it comes down to coming out of a hole with your teammates, and needing somebody to step up (which is also leadership).

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking at any college that are willing to work with me and show me new skills. I am willing to face and come across different/lots of challenges just to become a very good volleyball player, teammate, and a student athlete.

Though a pretty undersized middle blocker, Foster has an insane vertical. Foster swings above almost every block. She does a really good job at swinging on top of the ball and snapping her wrist, which has made it very difficult for the opposing defense to pass. Foster’s high vertical has also put her at being a very dominant blocker, scoring many points by shutting down the opposing block.
