Kuehn provides much of the defensive strength TAV Houston 17 Adidas with her reliable and efficient game. She’s one of the top passers in the area in her age group and excels in serve-receive mainly for two reasons – she’s very accurate when handling most serves that go her way and is very pragmatic when dealing with the tougher ones, prioritizing getting the ball “playable” at the center of the court. Kuehn also has excellent range on defense, touching on a lot of ball not many others would, and does a fine job when she has to set in transition.

The dynamic Kuehn plays a key role in Brenham’s passing system. Very reliable, the typically handles with ease the serves that go in her direction. Even when faced with very tough ones, the 5’7″ Kuehn manages to, at the very least, pass the ball high to the center of the court, giving her setter the time to get to it and make a play. She’s also a very good defender and a solid transition setter when needed.

Brenham’s starting libero was the team’s most consistent player over the course of the match. Her passing was excellent from start to finish and she also made some digs to help the team’s defense. Kuehn also did well when she had to set in transition and had a couple of good serving runs. She switched to defensive specialist after the second set.
