Kyla Mitchell is one of the top middle blockers from the Class of 2027 in Illinois.  She has impressive length and athleticism where she is a big time point scorer. At 6’3 and a long wingspan she poses a big time problem at the net for opposing attackers.  She is able to get out of her block in transition and can hit a variety of tempos in front of and behind her setters.  This team was always a threat in open level play last year as 15s and will be ones to watch this weekend in St. Louis.

This Michio 15 National team from this past club season was so fun to watch.  They played relentless defense, took some big swings, and had some really solid depth.  Out of the middle is Kyla Mitchell Kyla Mitchell Kyla Mitchell 6'3" | MB Lockport | 2027 State #110 Nation IL who brings plenty of length and athleticism.  At 6’3 Mitchell poses a problem for the other side of the net with her block and her ability to transition to run a variety of tempos.  She can go in front of the setter, can attack off one foot running a slide, and has a high motor.  She has plenty of momentum going and should be an exciting high school and club season for her to finish 2024, heading into 2025.

I’m buying stock now in Kyla Mitchell Kyla Mitchell Kyla Mitchell 6'3" | MB Lockport | 2027 State #110 Nation IL ‘s game where she is a 6’2 lengthy and athletic middle blocker who has a major upside.  She was able to score points at a high level in 15 Open and connected really well with her setters.  She has a lot of mobility where she can move from pin to pin and get out of her transition to be an available attacker. She can hit to her left and right where she is highly efficient.
