The Eastside catholic standout was a momentum changer for Dakine- when she hammers down an overpass or stuffs down a block, she energizes the players around her. Wellington can swing hard angle around the block or find the deep corner; she has excellent vision and feel when she is on the attack.

Wellington is a skilled and versatile player who has helped deliver some big wins for Dakine 15 Pink National this season. She moves extremely well in the middle and back row when serving and defending- she may be in the middle for Dakine, but she has the looks of a player who can find her way on either pin as well. The freshman from Eastside Catholic High School can get off the floor quickly as a blocker and will make adjustments with her hands when she reads attack angles. Dakine just won the PSR National Bid and will be a strong contender in a loaded field in the 15 USA Division at PNQ.

Wellington is an aggressive attacker who has good size, long arms and a strong block on either pin. Eastside Catholic has her in the rotation as a ninth-grader, and Wellington is willing to attack the edge of the block with her swings and has the versatility to score from the outside or right side.
