Eggerling is a true wildcard athlete in the VCNebraska 17 Black lineup. She earned some reps on the pin during Sunday’s Power League and showcased some serious heat on the left side. However, this Lincoln Northwest junior can play any position along the net and has ample experience as a middle blocker. Her dynamic game propelled 17 Black to its bracket run at NLQ, and the team hasn’t slowed down since. We’re eager to see where Eggerling’s long-term position is.

Her film from NLQ shows plenty of over-the-top kills in which Eggerling simply negated the block in front of her. That’s the benefit of a high contact point, and this Crete prep star is ready to go higher.

Eggerling has asserted herself into that conversation with 2.4 kills per set in her sophomore season–a huge jump from her freshman debut.
