With 421 serve attempts on the season, Furnald’s consistency and tactical placement keep opponents on the defensive, often forcing out-of-system play. Please officially welcome Miss Furnald to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 62^nd best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays at Etiwanda High School and also for the Forza1 volleyball club program.  Lauren has a cannon for an arm swing and she unleashes it every chance she gets.  What stands out when you watch her attack is how she contacts the ball at the true peak of her reach in order to battle against taller blockers.  It is also very nice to watch her swing well on both pins with power.  She knows how to allow the ball to cross over her shoulder while attacking on the right side in order to send the ball down the line.  It is one of the most deadly attacks if done properly and she does it with precision.  By being a true six rotation pin, she is able to use solid serve receive skills to help her team run their offense in system.  If you need an attack coming out of the pipe in middle back, Lauren is very capable of doing so.  Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of earning a spot in our State Ranking List.
