Long, lean and springy, Lauren makes this list from WAY up north, and will spend her last club season on NIVA’s top 18s team this coming spring. She’s an M2 through and through, and transitions so fast that a lot of blocks can’t catch up to even get a pinky on her attack height. I like her quick feet the most—even when she blocks, she’s often already closed with her outside blocker, waiting for the attack. That’s a nice change from most available middles in this class, who are often late, too slow or not long enough to close that block.
