I have been fortunate to see Ossmann play several times over this club season. To say she is versatile is an understatement. I have seen her set, play the middle, and also be dominate on the right side. Her attacks from the right pin are especially hard to stop. She reads the block in front of her well and adapts, going around it, finding the seam, or using blockers hands to her advantage. Ossmann also puts up a solid block herself. Regardless of which position she is tasked with, you can be certain she is going to be focused and be a leader on the court.

was quite the all around player for Wisconsin Elite 18 Elite this past weekend. She is a setter/attacker combo player who is quite the swiss army knife of skills. She has plenty of length where she is a physical attacker and defender at the net while also having the finesse at the setting position when she heads to the backrow. She is a key piece to the success of this team where there is a lot of underclassmen playing up on this 18s team.

Watching Lauren play at the Expo was very eye-opening for me. She played at a very high level. Her ability to run the court with confidence and savvy was one of her biggest assets. When she was hitting, she had power and great shots. And when she was setting, she moved the ball around with finesse. Lauren is a player who was not only one of the top athletes at the Expo but also really exploded onto my radar.

Ossmann has a lot of length at her disposal and she has a nice clean release on the ball. She is strong and seems to take the lead easily making her a positive prospect in a 5-1 system. Ossmann adjusted to unfamiliar attackers and found a way to connect with them.

Lauren stood out to me because of her great foot work and consistent, clean touch on the ball. She really kept her body neutral and did not give away her decisions as she moved the ball around. She caught my eye several times throughout the Expo for making heads-up plays and utilizing every hitter on the court.
