Helping her squad to a 20-win season for the first time since 2019, Lauren’s ability to take over the first contact, in both serve receive and floor defense, is a main reason for the Wolves’ success. She’s also a three-sport star at Boone Grove, which makes perfect sense considering her athletic acuity on the volleyball court.

Voudrie is consistent in her form and technique and I really like how she was opening up as soon as she read a deep ball. She is also super quick on defense and has great block coverage. Voudrie also gives the vibes of a natural leader who just puts her head down and does the work instead of worrying about all the other things going on. I think each team needs at least 1 of those to keep a team grounded.

Voudrie is just a sophomore playing libero on varsity at her high school, Boone Grove, who saw great success this past season in winning a 2A sectional title. She ended the season first in both digs per set (4.7) and total digs (474), the highest totals out of the players on this list. Lauren was also selected to play the in the North-South All Star game and I look for her to bring what she learned from that experience with other players to the courts come 12/7.
