Wiese embodies a player who has the work ethic, elite skill level, and elite size and athleticism that sets prospects apart in our Prep Dig Rankings and in their potential to play at the highest level. Wiese turned the coaches, players and scouts heads at our Prep Dig 250 event in Lynnwood in August. The Eastside Catholic star played with a superior mix of speed on her attacking routes and overwhelming strength on the block. She also showed off a smart ability to be calm and better the ball when she has to play it, impressing our scouts with her soft hands as a setter! Wiese can’t be missed at 6’3″, with excellent emotion and energy when anyone on her side of the net makes a play. Checking in on her this season with Sudden Impact, it was evident Wiese is getting more precise as a blocker, identifying the attack quickly with focused eye-work and pressing over with a purpose. The ball explodes off her hand and she racks up kills in bunches. Wiese is a Baylor commit and will play in the Big 12 Conference; she moves up into the #1 overall spot in the Prep Dig Washington 2025 Rankings.

Wiese had coaches singing her praises Saturday. “Legit, super physical, plays with urgency and purpose” was just one compliment she received. The 2025 middle blocker had a presence on the court, her power as an attacker and blocker showed out during positional drills and six-on-six play. It’s not power only with the Eastside Catholic standout, she carries a 4.6 GPA and has enough finesee to jump set to the pin when a second ball comes her way- she surprised the coaches and the attacker with that move!

Wiese is slamming down kills for her Eastside Catholic team, who are in the thick of the difficult Metro race. Wiese has a high kill rate, when she gets attempts she is a terminal attacker. Her aggressive sprint to the pin on the slide is a thing of beauty, she will chase the ball in front of her and put a vicious swing on the set. Its’s always good to see a middle serve well and play defense with intensity in the backrow, Wiese has shown the ability to be a plus for any team in a serving role.

The second ranked middle in the class, Wiese is a tremendous blocker who makes opponents think twice when she is in the area. Offensively she takes an aggressive, hard approach and rips the ball to either corner. During the club season she worked hard on running the slide and running quicks with her Sudden Impact setters. Like most young, tall middles, Wiese has huge room for growth and a high ceiling.
