About Laynee
Expert Analysis
Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
We have a huge list of contenders to sort out at the top of the Class 3A ladder. Frontenac has made some moves in its 28-10 journey, with Shay providing invaluable continuity in the back row. She placed herself on our 2028 radar after posting over four digs per set as a sophomore. Shay has somehow managed to clear that bar and make it five. This fleet-footed libero will never hesitate to step into the campfire to cover tip shots, and her line defense has been similarly impenetrable. Keep Shay’s name in mind as we prepare our next rankings overhaul.
