I’ve scouted Caffery consistently throughout the last few club campaigns. My latest in-person look came at the 2026 Nike President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. The Wilton junior helped Select 17 Mizuno finish fifth out of 32 teams in the open division. Caffery is rock solid, standing out for her consistency and limiting mistakes. She’s technically sound with a great feel for the setter position. No matter the team, Caffery displays a keen understanding on where to put the ball for her attackers to take advantage. Her block is effective thanks to sharp timing and quick reactions, which also help her in serve-receive. Caffery boasts the talent to help a smart program at the next level that provides her with an opportunity.

I’ve scouted Caffery on the club circuit the last few years and have been impressed with her consistency. She’s not flashy but makes winning plays as a setter in control of the action. Caffery connects the back and front rows by getting to her spots and turning whatever passes she receives into usable offerings for the attack. Caffery is a smart player that learns from opponent tendencies as the match goes on and takes advantage of areas that can be exploited. Caffery reads plays well as they develop and actively communicates with teammates. Through 76 sets in 2025, she had handed out 730 assists with 208 digs, 67 kills and 17.0 blocks.

brings to the court where she has a high IQ and just a different type of grit that brings the level of play up on her side of the net. She is the setter for Iowa Select and has been quite the name in the Quad Cities area where she leads Wilton High School. They are currently sitting at a 12-4 record and Caffery is averaging nearly ten assists per set. Her ability to get to the ball, use her hands, and find the favorable matchup for her attackers is special. She has an older sister playing at Northwest Missouri State and could be one D2 schools would love to have on campus. She will have a big matchup this week where Wilton takes on another top ten team in Mid-Prairie in conference play.
