About Leighton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a former competitive gymnast and a very aggressive player who communicates well and gives 100% during competition and practice. I’m fast and athletic and can cover a large area. I’m a very hard worker not only in the sport, but in school as well and I take my development seriously. I take additional skill-specific lessons on top of my normal workload in order to improve as much as I can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m energetic, hard working, and want to be the best I can be. It’s important to me to do well in school and on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play at the highest level I can and I’m open to playing almost anywhere that is a good fit. I would like to play sand and indoor volleyball if possible.

I finally got to see the famous Leighton on the court at the rankings tournament. She lived up to the hype. She is a solid back row presence for this UPVBC crew. She is confident and loud in every rally. She is someone you should consider just not serving at. I look forward to how she might be able to work her way into that BA lineup this school season.
