About Leslie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During play, I try to focus on making every touch better than the last one and I do my best to have a "next ball" mentality when I find myself making mistakes. I also tend to encourage my teammates to have a similar mentality and brush off mistakes with the intent of making their next ball a perfect kill, a dime pass/dig, or a perfect set.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I am a reliable and energetic person in general not just as a teammate, but on the court I look to my coaches and teammates for their support in the mental toughness game that goes on during every volleyball match.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was vice-president 202-2024 for French National Honor Society, I am actively in French club I participate in HOSA, and I am currently in the process of starting my own club POCA at TMHS.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at church with the newborns, young children, and special needs kids which has definitely taught me the merits of community service. I also have developed teamwork skills in the excellent school and club ball programs I have participated in.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college where I can pursue my personal passions in pre-med through a good undergraduate program for medicine and an excellent campus environment.
