About Libby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am athletic and bring a competitive edge to every game, driven by a calm and focused mindset, I thrive under pressure. I play smart, anticipating plays, adapt quickly, and make smart decisions that elevate team performance. As a teammate, I’m consistently supportive—communicating clearly, encouraging others, and stepping up!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I practice hard, come prepared and lock-in for games. I'm coachable,and poised under pressure, always ready to work, learn and adapt. Whether it's bouncing back from a mistake or staying grounded after a great play, I maintain a steady mindset that keeps me and my team moving forward. I'm organized and strategic in my approach, and I take pride in supporting my teammates—on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Honors Society at school. I am also involved with the National Charity League outside of school. It's a local organization that supports local philanthropies through volunteering, supporting their causes. I am leadership VP with NCL and have received the president's award. Some examples include Paw Works (animal shelter), Senior Concerns, Manna foodbank.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Balancing a highly rigorous academic schedule, with my volunteer activities and volleyball commitment have taught me time-management and organization skills that allow me to perform well across all of my activities. It has required that I prioritize my time and focus on my goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open-minded about my college opportunities but have a preference for academically selective schools where I can balance my academic and athletic achievement.
