Speaking of well-rounded, Lily is a six-rotation outside that has a bevy of well-trained skills at her disposal. Need a side-out? In- or out-of-system, Lily can score points. How about a well-timed serve reception? Miss Reinhart can step in and help an overwhelmed SR pattern. Floor defense? Lily’s read-and-react style of defense can carry over to the next level. Overall, she’s a solid choice for a six-rotation outside hitting option in the class of ‘28, and she’s only getting better.

More of a ball-control outside, Lily’s multiple positions listed in her profile emphasize that fact. She’s a pass-first, smart attacker that plays with a maturity that is lacking from a number of outsides in this class. I like her ability to lead by example—-she spent the great majority of her high school career doing just that at Bloomington South. I wouldn’t be too hung up on her height, as she makes up for it with athleticism and jumping ability.

The clear physical leader for Bloomington South, Lily’s arrival made a difference in each on-court situation she was in. A pass-to-attack queen, Lily’s ability to turn defense into offense was on display early and often, and she has that smooth athleticism that isn’t seen as much at this age. I look forward to watching Lily’s progress at Circle this coming club season.

As a six-rotation, primary attacker for Bloomington South, Lily’s responsibility this past fall was huge. She’ll be part of the gradual rebuild that the purple-and-black have had over the next couple of seasons. Her ability to do a little of everything well on the volleyball court makes her one of the better recruits in this class, and can be used in a number of capacities, from three-rotation attacker to six-rotation outside to three-rotation defensive specialist.

Springy and quick, Lily is a solid six-rotation outside that has all of the shots in her volleyball Roll-O-Dex (Kids, ask your parents what that is.). Quiet and unassuming, Lily just does her job, regardless of the situation, and does it well. Bloomington South hasn’t had the greatest of seasons in the last couple of falls, but Miss Reinhart should be the one athlete you can build a program around because of her all-around skills.

Although not as terminal as Blaine listed above, Lily might be more well-rounded than most outsides in this class. Calm and consistent in ball control, Lily is that O2 coaches so desperately need at these age groups—someone to rely upon when the going gets tough. I’d like to see a little more jump training in her future, as I don’t think she’s getting much taller than this. However, she’s more than capable of playing all parts of this game, and can be recruited to do multiple things on whatever the roster needs are.

Miss Reinhart is an all-out, never say die, beast of a competitor. You can tell she wants to win every time she steps on the court and will do whatever it takes to help her team get the W. Another solid six rotation OH on this list, Lily stands out for her ability to put a ton of heat on the ball when she swings, as well as mix up her shots on the left side. A lot of young outsides could learn from her approach to hit – get deep and go hard EVERY TIME! Passing wise, Reinhart is solid and has clearly been taught good fundamentals. One thing she can work on to improve her game would be to get stopped on defense, allowing her to run even more balls down than she already is.
Lily is playing in the 15 Premier Red Division this weekend.
