Playing both the libero position and the three-rotation DS spot in multiple tournaments on 16 Black, Harper is as steady as can be in both serve receive and on floor defense. To be fair—-there are SO many defensive specialists in Indiana that they’re hard to discern from one another. That being said, Harper stands out as an active and vocal libero that is the main reason this squad stays in system and has the success that they’ve had this spring.

As the libero for Danville, Harper saw a ton of action in the left back against some of the best squads in the state. Not normally known for their passing prowess, Harper flipped that narrative and showed everyone just how much she’s needed on a squad that requires solid consistent passing to be relevant in the crowded 3A volleyball landscape. Her dynamic, athletic movements, coupled with fast feet and a controlled platform in serve receive, will keep the Warriors (and the Circle team she’s a part of) relevant in high-level play for years to come.
