Martin makes plays at all six spots on the court. The lefty takes tough angles from both pins. Martin makes great adjustments in mid-air, mixing in quality off shots. Martin is not afraid to tool blocks to earn key points for Meade County. Martin is also sound on defense. She makes quality first touches, keeping her feet faced toward the target. Martin takes coaching well.

Martin is turning into a quality lefthanded hitter for the Wave with a nice array of shots. Martin leaps high trying to find ways to put balls past taller opponents. The driven Martin brings everything she has on each play. The sky is the limit for Martin these next three years with her work ethic.

If there was one player who stood out to me the most over the entire showcase, it was Martin. She was hands down the young lady that I would want to coach and/or play with, as well as the one who my fellow scouts and I couldn’t stop watching and talking about. Quinn is a lefty attacker who can swing from either side of the court and has a complete toolbox of shots. She doesn’t make many errors and knows where to put the ball in order to score in a variety of situations. Martin is a jumper and plays much taller than her height – she is clearly not intimidated by anyone on the other side of the net, and I love that about her! She worked hard all showcase and never stopped, even when her bib number was falling off and flying in her face, this girl kept on going. Well done Quinn – we will certainly be watching you this high school and club season!
