Roark stepped in during Year 1 and made an immediate impact as the lead setter for Ozark. She averaged around 9.5 assists per set as a freshman, showing she was more than ready to take control of the offense from the start. Roark also showed she can make an impact at the net, finishing last fall with 50 total blocks and giving Ozark another weapon defensively. With most of her top attackers returning this fall, the familiarity and experience should only help the offense become even more productive. After putting up strong assist numbers in her debut season, don’t be surprised to see those numbers climb even higher in Year 2.

CSDP 15-1 stands alongside PVA 15 Elite as 15 National’s Heart of America representatives. We’ve had our eye on this crew since the team’s top-five placement in Show Me’s 15 USA race. Roark has helped pilot the effort as a setter who can do a little of everything around the dial. The Ozark sophomore-to-be has tremendous range at the net and has been a proven asset as a wing blocker. Of course, CSDP gets plenty of quality distribution from its signal-caller, too. This full array will be needed for the GJNC grind.

Let’s meet another one of the top-placing athletes from the 15 USA fray. CSDP Volleyball Club turned heads with its quarterfinal appearance in Show Me’s 15 USA division, and the team’s signal-caller had a lot to do with it. Roark is a rangy setter whose aggression on second contacts establishes CSDP’s hard-hitting style. The team has grown increasingly comfortable throughout the spring season, culminating in a top-five finish across the Show Me State. We’ve seen Roark channel her freshman experience with Ozark High School, where she piled up 9.5 assists per set in her prep debut. Tough competition will never deter this six-rotation standout.
