Mike Bryant | Prep Dig Scout
Berube has complete skills and continues to show improvement with each high profile event she and her NKYVC team compete in this club season. She is explosive at the end of her approach work with big Elevation at 5’9. When at the peak of her jump she can drive the ball at the top of or over the block. With ability to score from both pins, she is also getting better in the passing phase to to complete her six-rotation impact. NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami earned a 15 National bid to the USAV GJNC and next will compete at Indy Cup.

Berube continues to be a big spark and a reliable point scoring source for her NKYVC team. Her athleticism and fast arm were on display from the get go as this team continues to use her in a variety of ways. Different attack points and different speeds keep the defense honest and Berube was too good at times as she found space easily or used her pace to tool defenders at the net. Following their 3-0 record on day one, they next play in challenge match #27.

Dynamic. Athletic. Crafty. These are a few characteristics to Berube’s offensive game for NKYVC’s top 15U team. Speed and quickness are a big part of her approach and arm swing where she can make exciting things happen with how aggressive she likes to swing. She can score in rhythm and makes good adjustments when needed. At 5’9, Berube’s impact is big and has more room to grow to help her become a very good and complete six-rotation athlete.

Berube is a quick and athletic pin playing for NKYVC’s top 14U team. What I like about her game on the outside is that she can get up and hang to allow her arm speed to go to work. At 5’9, she does good work in her approach pattern to get her last two steps to the ball that help her maximize her physical tools and move the ball around with that big pace she can create.
