About Lyla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as loud, aggressive, and constantly supporting my team. I’ll cheer loudly for any and every single one of my teammates and I’ll go after any ball. Being a setter, I make sure to stay quick on my feet and do my best to make my hitters shine.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my mentality as “don’t let the ball touch the ground,” and my personality as cheerful. I will throw myself into the wall, if it takes so much, just to get a ball, and will never, ever insult or put down a teammate. I do my best to cheer and yell and be the light on the court anyone needs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a setter, it puts me in the team captain place almost always, developing my leader ship skills in a way I never could’ve expected. Not only that, but I’ve developed communication skills im safe to say im proud of and do my best to help others around me.

What type of college are you looking for?

Something higher-level and competitive to hopefully match my passion for this sport.
