Lough brings good physicality to the front row through her rotations. She is an aggressive attacker, especially when up in the air as she is not afraid to swing with a lot of force behind the ball. As she drives up well with both arms, she is showing big improvement in how she controls her arm based on what she sees in front of her while not compromising that aggressive swing. Defensively, she is efficient in her pursuit of the block to get closed and over fast. Mintonette m.72 opens as the top seed in Pool E.

Lough is an active middle that has been developing well into the type of middle Mintonette likes to see around their setters. She is quick in her transition movement to get off the net and track the ball well to return and be available through the tempo they run to swing soon after the ball leaves the setter’s hands. She opens her shoulders well to be able to create good pace through her swing in the air.
