Kondel was one of the liberos I really liked at the showcase. She was simply solid in every part of the game, making very few mistakes while consistently making an impact on every play. She handled serve receive with confidence, delivered quality of system sets, and played solid defense throughout the showcase. She has a well rounded skill set and is definitely a libero that coaches should take note of.

Lyla Kondel has built her game around one principle: consistency builds trust. Every aspect of her approach reflects that mindset, from controlling serve receive to extending rallies with disciplined defense and relentless effort. She takes pride in being the player teammates depend on when the ball cannot hit the floor, understanding that a libero’s greatest contribution often comes from creating one more opportunity for her team to score.
