Macie is a stellar young defensive specialist and libero who has already built a Prep Dig profile this early in her career training with one of the more structured club programs in the Madison area. What evaluators should watch for in a showcase setting is her first-step reaction off the serve and her composure handling pace she has not faced from this level of hitter before. Knowing that the Wisconsin prep dig scouts have amazing eyes for young talent, especially with defensive players, this tells me that she is a player who I need to watch for during the showcase.  After watching her film online, she shows great anticipation and even better ability o dig balls well outside of her range as she lunges out to her side.  I really like the way she uses collapse digs to absorb contact and keep the ball on her side of the court.

Macie made a big impression in the back row with her quick reflexes and fearless defense. She reads hitters well, positions herself early, and pops up tough balls that keep rallies alive 🙌. Her platform control stood out, delivering consistent, clean passes that allowed her setters to run the offense smoothly. Add in her hustle and vocal leadership, and you’ve got a DS/L who makes a difference every time she steps on the court 💥. Macie is definitely one to keep an eye on in the 2030 class 👀.
