Now a San José State University commit, Mackenzi has turned a longtime dream into reality. The versatile Class of 2027 athlete continues to build her legacy both on and off the court, embracing opportunities to lead, inspire, and share her voice. Beyond volleyball, she is also the creator of the “What We Don’t Talk About” podcast, using her platform to have meaningful conversations and encourage others to think beyond the game.

Mackenzi has always carried her African-American heritage with pride.
