Hoffman does an outstanding job reading defenses and putting balls on target so her hitters can put balls down. She tries to involve a number of hitters. Hoffman is also a strong passer and aggressive server. Hoffman had 858 assists, 100 kills, 255 digs and 96 aces to help Warren East go 26-11, win a 15th District crown and drive to the in-season Class 2A state championship game and 4th Region semifinals.

Hoffman has turned into the primary setter for the team this year and has done a great job running the offense. Hoffman mixes in a number of short and long sets to both the pins and the middle including back sets. Hoffman said the team can almost always put balls down when the Raiders are in system. Hoffman finished the game against Letcher County Central with 18 assists.

It was not easy against Bowling Green’s size, but Hoffman did what she could to distribute balls to different hitters for the Raiders. Hoffman sets her feet well and delivers smooth sets to hitters. Hoffman’s play will help keep Warren East in the region hunt this season.
