This could be one of those players who just ends up on an All American list at Louisville in a few years. Louisville just has that eye for talent and potential where they mold players into some of the best in the country. Bailey has the length and athleticism where at 6’4 she can tough high and hit some wild angles out of the middle. She has played her club volleyball for BRAVO which is local out of Bowling Green where she also preps for her high school team (Bowling Green High School). She might not be the type who makes the impact right away when she steps on campus, but she could walk away from Louisville with a decorated resume.

Bailey has size and athleticism and uses it well to dominate the front row. She can rise up from the side and smack balls down to shallow parts of the court over and around blockers and sound defenders. Bailey also disrupts things with sound blocking. Bailey is trying to turn into a sound all-around player with sound serves and digs. The Purples could go on another deep postseason run this fall if they can force teams to try to defend her one-on-one.

Bailey (pictured) took over the top spot after having big games against solid competition down the stretch. That included a 24-kill performance on Oct. 15 in a 3-0 win against Elizabethtown and 22 kills in a 3-0 win over Dominant Five member St. Henry four days later. Bailey can rise up from the sides of balls and land kills away from powerful blockers. The Bowling Green staff does a great job taking advantage of her athleticism. Bailey finished the season with 587 kills, 58 assisted blocks, 38 solo blocks, 107 digs and 42 aces, helping Bowling Green go 34-7 with 14th District and 4th Region crowns and a spot in the state quarterfinals.

When Bailey rises up and puts a lot of force into balls, they fly off her hands like darts. She landed a number of those in the win in addition to some tip kills when holes opened on the floor as the result of Mercy trying to position for the hard hits. Bailey also does a great job doubling up with teammates for big blocks. Bailey finished the game with 12 kills and two blocks.
