When balls come near Mitchell, she does whatever it takes to dig them up and keep plays alive. Mitchell (pictured) makes the simple passes to help Logan County develop a consistent offensive rhythm. Mitchell does not hide behind blocks. Mitchell also shows good leadership on the court.

Mitchell is a playmaker in the back row for Logan County. She consistently makes crisp two to three-point passes. Mitchell calls for balls then takes the right number of steps to them. Mitchell is not afraid to stick her arms to the sides to dig up balls. Mitchell also makes good adjustments on redirected balls. Mitchell can back up and use overhead passes to dig up balls hit above her head.

Mitchell (pictured) has worked on improving her range during club season and it is paying off. She does a great job reading opposing hitters and setters, moves into position and stops to make precise passes. She provides good net coverage and gets her hands up quick on blocked balls. Mitchell adds sound out of system passes toward the net so hitters can take big swipes at balls.

Mitchell started at the libero position for Logan County in the fall and has picked up what she did in the fall for SKEVA 16 Blue. Mitchell makes crisp passes and provides outstanding cover at the net. Mitchell reacts quickly on blocked balls and makes nice out of system passes. Mitchell said she’s working on her footwork so she can track down tips and deep hits much easier.

Mitchell reads hitters well and sets her feet up nicely to make sound passes. She reacts quickly on powerful crosses and can make good steps forward to handle softer hits. Mitchell provides sound net coverage then backs into her passing position quickly. Mitchell also sends a nice jump serve to different spots on the court.
