Shernoff plays with soft hands and the ability to set a hittable ball on almost any pass. Her attackers were in a good position when paired with the Lincoln freshman during drills or a game. Shernoff stays ready defensively, and when she covers her hitters, she consistently pops balls up off swings or off a swing from her own attackers that look like they were going down for a point.
