About Makayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very aggressive with everything i do on the court. I make sure to properly communicate with my teammates before, during, and after a play. I am fluid and flexible during a play, always trying to actively involve myself.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a growth mindset and am always trying to improve in what i do no matter what it is. I am very funny and adaptive, making it easier for me to bond and work with others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Last year, as a sophomore i was involved in the Mental Health Awareness club at my highschool and i volunteered in a program for my local hospital. This year as a junior i will be involved in both organizations as well as creating my own club, boy’s volleyball club, and participating in skills USA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over time i have developed the traits of responsibility, integrity, and compassion.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is diverse and ranges from small to medium. Although i don’t mind what state i end up in i would like to be on a comfortable campus preferably in the city or suburbs.
