About Makenna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am aware of what is happening on both sides of the court which makes me good at reading the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I strive to be the best I can giving 100% at all times.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Band Academic Excellence Award

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been the team captain on my volleyball team for the past two years which has shown me the importance of valuing all of my teammates and treating them with respect on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am in the process of changing from mainly playing setter to moving to libero. This has made me need to be more aware of my decisions on the court so that I can be the best teammate on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that feels like home and has the major that I decide on.
