I’ve watched Floerke play quite a few times over the last few years, and one thing that really stands out is how much she has grown into a truly versatile player. While versatile hitters often get a lot of attention, I think versatility in the back row is just as important. Floerke is comfortable setting, dropping back to pass, and also has no problem playing all three backrow defensive positions. I’ve also seen her put on the libero jersey when asked. Florerke is the type of player who embraces whatever role her team needs her to fill and does it without hesitation or question. That kind of selflessness and adaptability makes a huge difference, and her teams are better because of it.

Makenna played disciplined yet aggressive all weekend. She always seemed to be exactly where she needed to be, whether it was in coverage, running down a tip, or digging deep into defense. Her great read of the game and volleyball IQ stood out and helped set her and her team up for success. Makenna made great decisions throughout the tournament and was a fun libero to watch who has a massive amount of potential.
