Edgar has developed into a small school power.  Located just outside of Wausau they had a 26-8 record, going undefeated in the Marawood South.  They have two high powered scorer in twins Naquene Ellenbecker Naquene Ellenbecker 5'8" | OH WI and Makita Ellenbecker Makita Ellenbecker 5'8" | OH WI , but another athlete to watch is Mallory Stencil Mallory Stencil 5'8" | OH/MB Edgar | 2029 WI who was a key contributor as a freshman.  She was one of the leaders on the team in blocks along with Shiloh Karlen.  The Wildcats should be coming back in 2026 with big expectations with their experience. 

Mallory brings consistency and huge point-earning potential to every team she plays on. She was a leader on her club team last season and has continued to improve her game. Mallory is competitive yet very smart, and a player I am excited to watch throughout this club season.

Mallory is a dynamic, versatile player. She can find nearly any spot on the court with her swing and is always ready for the ball. She handles tip coverage well and doesn’t miss a beat in transition. Her fundamentals are solid, and she does whatever her team needs to get the point. She is highly efficient, hitting 0.284 for Edgar as a freshman. Mallory will also be a leader and impact player for her Wisconsin Ice team.

Representing Edgar High School and Wisconsin Ice , this 2029 prospect plays with high intensity. She is described as an explosive hitter with an aggressive approach, capable of executing a difficult cross-body swing down the line. Stencil matches her offense with grit, making a dig by getting her hips under the ball.
