Waldorf is playing with the Sudden Impact 18’s, and she has elevated her game. The Lakeside middle is rocketing kills off slides, quicks, in the seam, and from the right side when SIVBC wants to change up the looks on the defense. Waldorf is playing with an aggressive, attacking mentality and will be a terrific pick-up for a college program.

Every coach in the gym today was talking about Waldorf starting with her first contacts at the net. The 6’2 middle is athletic and fluid, which was impressive to watch given her ability to adapt well in a setting that included a lot of prospects these athletes were not familiar with on the same side of the court. The Lakeside product and member of SIVCB showed her versatility in her offensive skill set. She is quick and explosive to elevate and swing through a variety of quick tempo options. Through today, she showed a lot of stock-rising potential given her current ranking in this WA 2027 class and following her contributions to help Lakeside to the WA state tournament.

Waldorf worked on the right side for the Lions during the school season and looked fluid, springy, and aggressive as an attacker. She has outstanding length, and her approach stayed slow to fast, with force and urgency in her attack. Waldorf was unafraid to attack the block; she blasted swings out of bounds off hands for kills all season.

The Lakeside middle can catch just about anyone as a blocker with her impressive wingspan. Waldorf is all of 6’2″, and there is room to add strength for the 2027 prospect. You can’t teach her enthusiasm and length, and her improvement is showing up from one tournament to the next as she continues to train with her Sudden Impact team. Waldorf is working hard running the slide, and when its right she contacts the ball at its high point to score.
