She sets a big block and made herself an asset as a setter this year to help her team make another run to the X. As an attacker she takes smart shots including a tip that goes just over the block, uses the block, and she knows how to mix things up to keep the defense guessing.

Michaelis had a HUGE high school season and I think she is due for a break out club season. She could be a real dominant force with her exceptional skill and athleticism. She not only has the length but also an explosive jump and electric swing. As a lefty she does a great job of getting her feet around the ball. Michaelis has a very high contact point and fast swing to score points with ease.

Michaelis was another player that I had never heard of until the Stock Up Showcase in August. AND she is another lefty! I really liked her high contact point and her ability to take a hard andf powerful swing on the ball.
