Maryella Owens Maryella Owens 6'1" | RS/MB Desert Vista | 2027 State AZ is one of those players that can make an impact from anywhere. We’ve seen her dominate both middle and right side, and swing hard an effectively to score for her team in the corners. She puts up a massive block as well, and has fantastic energy on the floor.

This right side is a problem for opposing defenses. She brings a heavy arm swing with true terminal ability, especially in system, and consistently scores against a well-formed block. What really separates her is her presence at the net—she closes blocks well, presses over aggressively, and forces hitters to rethink their angles. A true two-way threat who impacts the game on both pins.
