Maya is especially eager to showcase her craftiness as a hitter, a skill she’s been sharpening since her last big tournament appearance at Red Rock Wave. Known for her smart shot selection and ability to read the court, she brings an advanced volleyball IQ to every play.

Her goals for the Salt Lake City Qualifier are centered around being a constant presence on the court. Whether it’s playing off-blocker defense, being the loudest communicator, or lifting her teammates after every play, Maya is focused on staying involved, positive, and mentally strong, never letting a mistake shake her confidence.

Off the court, Maya has taken a disciplined approach to both physical and mental preparation. Her routine includes running, weight training, and proper nutrition. She also emphasizes hydration, mental training, and rest, going as far as scheduling daily naps before practice to ensure she’s physically and mentally ready to perform.
