McKenzie is a powerful hitter that makes clubs stand up and take notice. She has a heavy hand and can really put the ball down. At 13 she caught the eye of former Prep Dig scout Hannah Watkins. Berry continues to turn heads on the court. McKenzie has very good footwork and presents a challenge to any hitter trying to get past her. The old adage you can’t teach size is true, but size is not all Berry has going for her. She’s a solid defender and an offensive weapon. Will we see her on the court for Greenwood this fall? Time will tell, but she is already watched by some colleges. We will be watching too!
