Expert Analysis
Breit Nelson | Prep Dig Scout
Pfannerstill did a great job showing off a plethora of tools in her attacking arsenal. She was pounding the power alley, going high hands for the deep cross court and hanging just a little longer to expose panicked defenders down the line. Pfannerstill makes smart plays over the block.

Pfannerstill could be picked up and excel at a high level as either a 6 rotation pin or as a defensive specialist/libero. She is so steady and consistent in her pass and defensive game that you never want to take her out of the rotation. When she moves to the front row she is smart and gritty. Pfannerstill has so many shots and she is not afraid to utilize all of them. She has been under the radar and would be a huge steal for any program.

Pfannerstill is a strong six rotation player that is solid in serve receive by creating strong, clean angles. She has a low flat and fast paced serve that eats opposing passers up. As an attacker she can hit all the shots, speeds, and spots. Defensively, Pfannerstill makes good reads and quick reactions to get her feet to the ball and her hips under the ball.

Pfannerstill and Wisconsin Ice will be getting back on the court after ending a long stretch of weekends on the road with winning the Mizuno March Mania. She is really consistent both offensively and defensively. Pfannerstill knows how to keep the play alive, make smart choices, and how to score. She knows how to find the opening on the court and expose a team’s weakness. Pfannerstill connects well with both of her setters and has been getting to know the 18 Prep’s setter since she will head to Ohio and help them out next weekend.
